London Funders, City Bridge Trust and London Councils - Supporting the resilience of people in community-facing organisations: Learning from crisis for peacetime
17 May | 14:00-15:30
This workshop will help funders to develop a shared understanding of what resilience means in practice.
London Funders and members have been working together since 2018 to better understand and develop the funder role in supporting the resilience of people who work in community-facing organisations.
The last year has shone a spotlight on the immense stress on staff and volunteers in the organisations we support, and at the same time, has enabled funders to work in different ways to try and reduce burnout. This workshop will help funders to develop a shared understanding of what resilience means in practice. Attendees will hear from funders and civil society organisations on how they have supported their people through the pandemic, and will explore what new practices and behaviours we can take forward into the future.
