Ubele Initiative - Structural racism in the the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector

In this session, you will hear from the Ubele Initiative about their research and what actions funders can and should take to make sure that Black and Minoritised organisations are supported beyond the covid-19 crisis.

The Booska Paper exposes structural racism in the the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and explores the impact of the pandemic on funding attitudes in the UK. It highlights the issues that need to be addressed by funders to help create more just and racially equitable society where all communities can flourish. The Ubele Initiative lead on this research on behalf of local, regional and national Black and Minoritised infrastructure organisations.
