The Social Investment Consultancy - Equity in funder collaboration
12 May | 14:00-15:00
This interactive workshop will introduce London Community Response’s approach to prioritising equity in grant making.
The London Community Response has channeled close to £20 million within the past year, to organisations led and for by communities most affected by covid-19 - which also face long-term structural inequities.
As more and more funders consider how to embed equity better into their grant-making processes, this interactive workshop will introduce London Community Response’s approach to prioritising equity in grant making - all the way from outreach to application process, to sifting and funding decision, and grantee support. Join us this session if you are interested in the nitty-gritty of grant-making with an equity lens and hear directly from the equity partners involved in the London Community Response.
This work was commissioned by London Funders, thanks to funding from City Bridge Trust/LCRF, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, the Greater London Authority, United Saint Saviour’s Charity and the London Community Foundation.
