A New Direction and partners: Listening Projects – sense-making of the cultural eco-system supporting children and young people in the wake of covid-19

In this session, we will share details of the value a co-research process can bring to learning and specific learnings that emerged from these rich conversations.

Partnering with specialist organisations New Local, Rocket Science, Climate Museum UK, B&G Partners and Aweo Group, the Projects aimed to unlock new perspectives around the evolving dynamics of cultural infrastructure and the experience of young Londoners, cultural and creative organisations, and wider community partners working in neighbourhoods. In this session, we will share details of the value a co-research process, can bring to learning, specific learnings that emerged from these rich conversations, and questions that were generated about the nature of listening and the importance of attentive and ongoing listening during recovery.
