In this session, we will take a look at some of the main concerns that charities have about AI (based on CAST’s recent survey).
We will also share what support charities have told CAST they need from funders, to confidently explore the field. With this in mind, we’ll introduce some of the key insights and actions that have emerged from our AI in Grantmaking sessions, in which a group of trusts and foundations meets to discuss the opportunities and challenges of using AI - within their own practices and in civil society organisations.
We’ll share some of the core themes that's been discussed in the meetings to date (December 2023 - April 2024) and the resulting recommendations, solutions and plans of action that are currently being shaped. And we’ll throw open the discussion to the floor, as well as extending an open invitation to any UK funders who would like to join the peer group.
