From data to action: a framework for building civic participation in London

Join the Greater London Authority for an insightful session on how we can use data to drive better and more civic participation in London.

Join the GLA (Greater London Authority) for an insightful session on how we can use data to drive better and more civic participation in London. In the session, we will discuss how the Civic Strength Tool and how its underlying framework provide a shared approach for understanding and addressing the barriers faced by communities in London.

Launched in 2021 and developed by the Young Foundation in consultation with Londoners, the Civic Strength Tool has been used by Waltham Forest to develop its 15min neighbourhood corporate strategy and is also being used by the GLA’s Regeneration team to inform its programme design and investments. The Tool also offers an opportunity to identify where investment in civic participation can be driven by funders.

We will explore how the Civic Strength Tool can work alongside London funders’ and local authorities existing evaluation and insight frameworks and can lead a shared approach to collecting evidence on social justice and civic participation in the city.

The Festival is open to all members of London Funders. Unless otherwise specified, we are not able to accept bookings from non-members. If you’re a funder and interested in becoming a London Funders member, please find out more here.
