Building the capacity of London’s equality organisations to impactfully engage with the media

This session, run by Media Trust, will explore what support equality organisations need to impactfully engage with the media.

Together with participants from their ‘Stronger Voices’ programme, which works with equality organisations across London, the session will cover how to increase the capacity of organisations to shape media coverage on the issues they work across, how to meaningfully involve voices of lived experience in media work, and what impactful funding of this work looks like.

The session will be run by Olive Ceesay, Stronger Voices Programme Manager, Madeleine Ellis-Petersen, Media Trust’s Head of Charity Services, and will include input from the Stronger Voices cohort.

The session will be in person, with plenty of opportunity for audience input, discussion and networking.

The Festival is open to all members of London Funders. Unless otherwise specified, we are not able to accept bookings from non-members. If you’re a funder and interested in becoming a London Funders member, please find out more here.
