Building a participatory infrastructure

For every Londoner to feel they have a say in their lives and their communities, we need to create a participation infrastructure across the city - building the skills and mechanics for money to be put into the hands of citizens. This requires the collaboration of councils, organisations and funders possessing the assets, money, networks, and crucially, the power to influence change.

Camden Giving is hosting an in-person event to initiate critical conversations on how we can collectively foster a participatory environment across London. We’ll present our Participation Map research which sheds light on the level of participation across London's boroughs where decisions about money are citizen-led and identify the areas that are needing investment.

If you are interested in attending this event, please email Camden Giving's Director, Natasha Friend at natasha@camdengiving.org.uk to submit your interest.

The Festival is open to all members of London Funders. Unless otherwise specified, we are not able to accept bookings from non-members. If you’re a funder and interested in becoming a London Funders member, please find out more here.
