Making progress in place: building our collective knowledge of place-based approaches

Join Sported as they share their strategies for building connections, identifying local challenges, community-led evaluations and developing solutions collaboratively.

Discover the insights from Sported’s place-based working model in this interactive online session. Through reflections on the Connected Communities programme, we’ll explore what works well and the challenges of empowering community groups by tailoring support to local needs. Drawing from experiences across the UK, including a focus on London, this session will share strategies for building connections, identifying local challenges, community-led evaluations and developing solutions collaboratively. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A and shared learning space, where funders can discuss their aims, expectations, and experiences with place-based approaches. Together, we’ll build collective knowledge and identify opportunities to strengthen place-based working.

The Festival is open to all members of London Funders. Unless otherwise specified, we are not able to accept bookings from non-members. If you’re a funder and interested in becoming a London Funders member, please find out more here.
