Advising Londoners: funding through partnership, not prescription

This session explores the Advising Londoners Partnership —a bold, co-produced funding model led by the Greater London Authority in partnership with London Legal Support Trust and London Citizens Advice.

Developed in response to the cost-of-living crisis, the model prioritised collaboration over competition, with delivery partners actively shaping how resources were allocated and services delivered.

Funders will hear how this approach has prioritised a shared ownership model that fosters trust between partners, coordination, and long-term impact. We will also highlight how the model has strengthened the advice sector’s collective voice, enabled system-wide workforce development, and laid the groundwork for a London-wide advice strategy. And we want to hear from other funders interested in the effectiveness of different models of funding and delivering advice and support in London.

If you're interested in how funders can shift from transactional to transformational partnerships, this session is for you.

The Festival is open to all members of London Funders. Unless otherwise specified, we are not able to accept bookings from non-members. If you’re a funder and interested in becoming a London Funders member, please find out more here.
